Be part of a vital service at the heart of your local community or develop your skills and experience by volunteering for CAB.

Our volunteering opportunities include:

Information Navigators: help people find the most appropriate organisation, group or individual to help them

Universal Credit Champions:  helping people to claim universal credit online or over the telephone

Receptionists: meet and greet clients and guests.  Work a busy telephone switchboard and manage the daily advice appointments.

Advisers: provide a free, confidential, efficient and effective advice, information and advocacy service to people who are resident, working, studying, caring for a resident of Solihull or registered with a GP in Solihull.

Research and Campaigning: tackle injustices to prevent practices and policies effecting local people

Fundraiser: as a charity we rely on donations, grant funding and people who make regular donations to our cause.  Assisting to increase the funds into the organisation to use on front line services to local people

Marketing and communications: Promote the work of Citizens Advice Solihull Borough in particular highlighting the impact that advice has on local people’s lives.

Trustee: Citizens Advice Solihull Borough Board of Trustees are all volunteers, giving their time to help local people.  Being a Trustee can be very rewarding and challenging.

Commitment:  We ask for a minimum of 6 hours per week for at least a 6 month period, except for the Adviser role we ask for a minimum commitment of 1 year.
